A modern approach to audiology pricing
Traditional audiology practices bundle services into upfront packages — whether you need all those appointments or not. With telehealth and remote programming technology, we can deliver expert care more efficiently.
You pay only for the appointments you actually need.
As healthcare evolves and overhead decreases through technology, those savings get passed directly to you.
Hearing Aid Devices — Transparent Pricing
How It Works
I offer premium hearing aids from all major manufacturers with transparent, unbundled pricing. You'll know exactly what you're paying for devices and services — separately.
Manufacturers I Work With
This means I can recommend the best technology for your hearing loss, lifestyle, and goals — not what a manufacturer contract dictates.
Pricing Breakdown
After your initial evaluation, I provide a personalized quote showing:
- Device cost (at competitive pricing)
- My optimization and follow-up services (unbundled, pay-as-you-go)
- Partner audiologist fitting fees (they bill you directly)
Device Payment: 50% deposit when ordering, 50% on delivery. Devices ship directly to you and are not ready for use until professionally fitted in person.
Potential Savings: Compared to traditional bundled pricing, patients using this model can save hundreds to thousands of dollars — especially if you need minimal follow-up or already have a good understanding of how to use hearing aids.
In-Person Fitting Requirement
Washington State law requires hearing aids to be fitted in person. I can recommend local audiologists who follow evidence-based best practices for proper hearing aid fitting.
They bill you directly for their fitting services. I'm willing to work alongside your insurance-covered providers — you pay me only for the services you want from me.
If a recommended provider doesn't work out for any reason, I'll help you find another option.
Insurance & Payment
Insurance Coverage
Services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. I provide itemized invoices for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement if your carrier covers out-of-network audiology services.
Washington State residents may have hearing aid coverage. In 2024, Washington State passed legislation requiring certain large employer health plans to cover hearing aids. Coverage eligibility varies by plan type.
To check your coverage, contact your insurance provider and ask about out-of-network audiology benefits, tinnitus evaluation coverage, hearing aid device benefits, and coverage frequency.
Payment Methods
Credit card, debit card, and HSA/FSA cards accepted. Payment is due at time of service for all unbundled appointments.
I'm willing to work alongside your insurance-covered providers — you pay me only for the services you want from me. This gives you flexibility while maximizing any insurance benefits you may have.
